The Factory Manager is responsible for managing the complete operations of the GRP, GRC, and UHPC façade manufacturing facility. This includes planning, production, manpower, quality control, maintenance, and safety to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of high-quality façade elements. The role demands hands-on leadership, deep technical knowledge, and the ability to manage a multi-disciplinary production team.

Key Responsibilities:

???? Production & Manufacturing Management

• Plan and oversee the production of GRP, GRC, and UHPC components based on project schedules and client requirements.
• Ensure all production activities (moulding, casting, curing, finishing, demoulding, packing) are carried out efficiently and safely.
• Allocate resources (manpower, materials, machinery) optimally to meet production targets.
• Manage workflow and reduce downtime or rework through process control and proactive planning.

???? Factory Planning & Coordination

• Coordinate with planning and project teams for fabrication priorities and delivery deadlines.
• Ensure proper sequencing and batching of moulds based on type, quantity, and finish requirements.
• Ensure readiness of moulds, reinforcement cages, inserts, etc., prior to casting.

???? Quality Control & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to project specifications, mix designs, and quality procedures for GRP, GRC, and UHPC elements.
• Work closely with QA/QC team to implement inspection and testing regimes (e.g., cube testing, surface finish checks, dimensional verification).
• Investigate and resolve product non-conformities and production defects.

???? Team & Workforce Management

• Lead and manage supervisors, foremen, technicians, and labourers across all shifts.
• Monitor performance, provide training, and ensure compliance with work instructions and HSE policies.
• Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

⚙️ Machinery & Maintenance

• Ensure production equipment (mixers, vibrators, curing systems, moulds, cutting tools) is maintained and operating efficiently.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance programs in collaboration with the maintenance team.

???? Inventory & Material Management

• Ensure availability of raw materials such as cement, aggregates, polymers, reinforcement, pigments, mould release agents, etc.
• Monitor material consumption, stock levels, and minimize waste and excess usage.

???? Reporting & KPI Monitoring

• Maintain and report production metrics: output per shift, rejection rate, cycle time, labor productivity, etc.
• Analyze factory performance and suggest improvements in process, productivity, and cost.
